RUSTENBURG HERALD - PROTEA PARK - Residents of Boven Crescent Protea Park are sighing with relief after intervention by construction giants - MCivils and Wenhaus Construction - saw the repair of a street that has been leading nowhere for almost six years.

What started with a burst pipe and minor trouble with drainage, eventually resulted in almost the entire Boven Crescent collapsing. To make matters worse, several attempts by contractors of lesser repute could make little headway and repeatedly saw the project abandoned.
To the relief of residents, well-known local construction companies MCivils and Wenhouse Construction were called in by the Rustenburg Local Municipality. As in the notorious case of the Arend Avenue sewerage disaster just over a year ago, MCivils/Wenhaus Construction wasted little time in ensuring that Boven Crescent is going places again. The before and after photographs on the right clearly show the progress that has been made here.
