Rustenburg Herald’s centenary celebrations which coincided with Brauhaus Afrika’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, was indeed a blast and everyone would agree that scorching temperatures reaching into the high 30s was perfect weather for an Oktoberfest. Rustenburg Herald wishes to thank all our advertisers and sponsors, readers and guests who turned up to help us make our centenary celebrations at Brauhaus Afrika a spectacular and unforgettable event.

Our profound appreciation also goes to Callie and Thomas Schlotfeldt and the team at Brauhaus Afrika for their support! We tip our hats to all of you! This page is an extremely condensed picture of what went down at Brauhaus Afrika on Saturday. If you perhaps don’t see your photograph on this page (more than 100 photographs were taken on the occasion) turn to our “jacket” elsewhere in this edition - it is very unlikely that you and your group of friends or family don’t feature there. If you’re still unlucky - you are most welcome to phone our offices on 014 592 8329 (Waldie Volschenk) and we will send you your photograph
