BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Entries are open for the Tour de PPA, taking place on Sunday, 25 February 2024.
This will be the perfect prep to help cyclists gauge their fitness and fine-tune their strategy prior to the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Entry fees vary from R300 to R470. Entries to the Tour de PPA are open to PPA members as well as non-members and is ideal for experienced and average cyclists, as well as newcomers to the sport. E-Bikes and Tandems are welcome to join.
The last PPA-organised fun ride before the annual Cape Town Cycle Tour, this event starts and ends at the Durbanville Racecourse, and is a great opportunity to get in a final, solid training session. There are two routes in the event – a 106 km and 80 km – and the longer route counts for Cape Town Cycle Tour seeding. There will be an information tent to assist riders with any last-minute questions as well as a bike shop for minor bike adjustments and last-minute spares anyone may need. There will be a variety of food and drinks on offer! There will be a bike park to ensure more room around the venue for everyone. So come sit back, relax, and enjoy the moment with friends and family.
