BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Due to the instability of South Africa’s energy market, characterised by frequent fluctuations and disruptions, many businesses are forced to struggle with a delicate equilibrium between power assurance and power quality.
While many business owners’ efforts are focused almost solely on power assurance – keeping their plants running with backup power sources such as generators when needed – power quality is often overlooked until it becomes a problem.
While power assurance is paramount to keeping businesses running, the significance of power quality cannot be overstated, as it directly impacts operational efficiency, equipment longevity and, ultimately, the bottom line.

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - In reply to a parliamentary question posed by the DA, the Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, made the unfortunate revelation, that the North West province is positioned in a disappointing second last place, in regard to response times by the South African Police Service (SAPS).
As a result of this, criminals have all the time in the world to do their bidding without any fear of SAPS intervention. This has led to the fact that organised crimes, such as those related to gangsterism, are running rampant in many a province. These figures come on the back of a previous response wherein it was revealed that 10111 centres across South Africa were grossly understaffed, with the SAPS managing to deploy only about 40% of what it considered to be the ideal staff complement to 10111 centres, nationally.
