BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Al-Imdaad Foundation had been operating in the North West through local volunteers for an extended period but in last two years. The North West branch has since made an impact by improving the lives of residents across various municipalities.
In collaboration with the Provincial Department of Health, the Foundation organised a cataract surgery camp at Job Shimankana Tabane Hospital in Rustenburg, providing essential eye care services to patients waiting on extended backlogs.
The hospital is also the site of weekly Slice-4-Life Sandwich distributions for patients waiting in line for health services.

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Amateur artists in and around Rustenburg are invited to enter Rustenburg Herald/NW Bonus’ popular Blank Space Art competition with wonderful prize-money up for grabs once every quarter as well as at the grand finale following the overall judging at the end of the year.
Two monthly/quarterly winners from all participating artists will be selected every quarter (one each from Pick n Pay Greystone Crossing and Pick n Pay Beyers Naudé) with each of these artists walking off with prize-money of R1 000 sponsored by Rustenburg Herald.
Next Farmers Market around the corner
BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Prospective farmers/entrepreneurs/socialites and all who simply enjoy a lovely outing are reminded of the next edition of the monthly Rustenburg Farmers Market at the Rustenburg Show Grounds on Saturday, 30 March.
This will be the first Farmers Market of the new year and everyone is invited. Come grab a bite to eat, stock up on your fresh veggies and see what is on the menu from local farmers and vendors.
Remember - there are lots to eat and drink - coffee, tea, cold drinks, hamburgers, hotdogs, biltong, droëwors, salami, rusks, cookies, jams, jellies, baby clothes and toys, arts & crafts, nostalgia and the company of old or new friends.

BONUS - RUSTENBURG - Die toegegroeide parke in Rustenburg gaan nie maklik getem word nie, maar die AfriForumtak op dié dorp skrik nie vir ’n uitdaging nie.
Lede van die tak het in Februarie die opknappingswerk aan Rustenburg se parke hervat. Die span het spesifiek gefokus op die park op die hoek van Kerk-, Kruger- en Bultstraat, asook die park op die hoek van Helen Josephrylaan en Bovenstraat. Meer as 3,5 hektaar gras is gesny en etlike ure is met bossiekappers gewerskaf.
