Lentswe, Kanana - Tlhoriso Richard Kalamane ordinarily known as “Bonzo” is a philanthropic and principled person, with humble beginnings and he is from the dusty streets of Kanana - a community known for its violence and notorious activities. He holds pure intentions about the Good News - Gospel, and is not a Great Man of God, but the principled and humble servant of the Great God. He strongly believes that there’s no relationship between Salvation and Money as grace cannot be jugged nor be bottled and is not in any way for sale.
It is during the pandemic when the urge to write books became like a thirst that needed to be quenched.
“I was profoundly, overwhelmingly moved by the desolation and wretchedness of the people of God. At the beginning it was so hard to sit and write but the voice of God carried me throughout, even when I felt like giving up. There were times when I was spiritually unavailable, emotionally frustrated and mentally down and would hear God whispering in my ears not to give up.”
He said the crucial point of his calling is helping people, rescuing sinners, suffering, the lame, bring hope to the hopeless, provide shelter to the homeless. “It hurts me when people go through suffering and pain. If that was not the case, I wouldn’t have bothered writing the books and or planting a church. Hence, I am an inadequate, an imperfect individual just like you. I am a sinner seeking Grace.”
Three Christian books titled Journey with the Lonely Christ - No matter what it costs; Christ is All and in All and Day by Day - Devotional Bible reading, have been published under his name.
Journey with the Lonely Christ is a book with the lessons on the miraculous Glory of Easter. It starts with the period of Lent and takes you through the Resurrection Sunday. This piece of work will indeed be informative to those who will come in touch with it.
The seven words of Christ on the cross are a marvellous work; many of us can always refer to this book.
“The world is a dark place, has lost its gentleness and its humane character. There is a never-ending abject misery in the world today.
“There’s an ongoing resilience and resistance to the light of the world - Jesus Christ. And incalculable number of people are in pain but their pain is not only physical - most of the time the pain is spiritual. The word of God can be used as bread and as weapon - in peace and in war.
“These books are meant to encourage and inspire others, and for all who are longing for and / or needing a closer walk with God in their different wildernesses,” he related.
He thanks God for his beautiful wife and adorable daughters for their support.
Never allow your circumstances to determine your destination but always remember, with God besides you everything is possible, he concluded.
