Lentswe, Klerksdorp - As part of thanking themselves, teachers from every nook and corner of KOSH gathered at Klerksdorp Rio Casino recently. Teachers work tirelessly from January to December of each year imparting knowledge to learners. Some pass through torrid times where the same learners are attacking them and parents do not help them.
In some instances, the same parents go to schools to attack teachers as it has been the case at some schools across the country.
It they are called for learning challenges their children face at schools they do not show up except those whose children excel in school work.
As part of easing stress and tension headaches, teachers celebrated with their peers from across other schools. Premises within Rio Casino were painted with different colours of school and gazebos.
Both primary and high schools brought their cooler-boxes filled with drinks. The scorching sun and suffocating heat could not stop the day’s celebrations.
