Lentswe, Jouberton - Modupe (Aka Record) Zacharia Lepholletsa passed away recently. He was one of the people who started the meter taxi Tambaai Association in 1999. He is also known for his boxing career! He started boxing in 1954 at Wolmaransstad, where he was born. He climbed into the ring with big names such as Simon Thulo and Pangaman Sekgapane. He continued his boxing career with Kid Molly in Cape Town in 1967. In 1969, he hang up his gloves after winning his last match. He also fought in Durban and Johannesburg. His famous boxing name was Gentle Tiger. Record was a family man, with 12 children and twenty grandchildren. His wife passed away in May this year.
