Lentswe, Jouberton - The Holy Family Anglican Church ended Heritage month on Sunday September 30 by celebrating different cultures. It was also time for the congregation to enjoy a meal together and the church’s men did not shy away from dishing up a wholesome meal because the men fellowship took up the cooking challenge during September. Prof Binu Luke was one of the guest speakers on heritage on the day, “Of course it can be annoying that people do things in a different way or see things differently to the way you do, but discomfort is part of life and is how you grow.

You could grow up with someone who lives in the same neighbourhood as you and even goes to the same church as you but they do things differently to you because of how they were raised and God will use them!

He’ll use them and He’ll use you in different ways because your situation and your heritage is unique and you are unique,’’ is the message from the Holy Family church and the reason why they wanted to bring about different cultures to the church.

“Heritage day is to bring people of God together in the house of Lord.’’
