BRITS POS – BRITS – Community members are urged to roll up their sleeves to help ensure that Brits Blood Bank has sufficient blood stock this festive season.
As the festive season approaches, a period often marked by increased travel, road accidents and medical emergencies, the local South African National Blood Service (SANBS) branch is already preparing to meet the expected rise in blood demand across the country.
Visit the SANBS donor centre at Brits Mall and be a hero when donating blood. The centre is open Mondays: 10:00 to 18:00, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from: 09:00, Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and closed on Sundays.
They will be closed on the following public holidays: 25 December, 26 December and 1 January 2026.
