Duo in the dock for possession of explosives, ammunition
RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG – 28-year-old Tebogo “Manyoka” Diale and 19-year-old Simphiwe Dube are scheduled to make their second appearance before the Koster Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 14 August, for a formal bail application.
According to Rustenburg police spokesperson, Sgt Ofentse Mokgadi, the two first appeared briefly in court on Friday, 8 August, on charges of possession of explosives and unlawful possession of ammunition.

As a matter of fact, this incident not only had an impact on the administration of the municipality, but also poses a challenge in the delivery of services to the community.

Alleged cyber attack on RLM’s IT systems - ActionSA seeks urgent investigation
RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - "ActionSA notes with extreme concern the alleged hacking of the Rustenburg Local Municipality's IT network. This incident occurs against the backdrop of ActionSA laying criminal charges against the Municipal Manager for alleged fraud and corruption, raising serious questions about potential links between the two events," said Thabo Nkashe, Action SANW Provincial Chairperson in a media release on Friday last week.
