  • TRAC N4 concessionaire to abolish magstripe card payments

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - Motorists and holidaymakers planning to travel to Mozambique via the N4 from Solomon Mahlangu through Mpumalanga to Maputu - please take note that starting from 1 December 2024, TRAC N4 toll plazas will no longer accept magstripe (swipe) card payments. 
    This measure only applies to the N4 via Solomon Mahlangu through Mpumalanga to the Maputo Port in Mozambique - according to TRAC N4, the concessionaire who manages the N4 via Solomon Mahlangu through Mpumalanga to Maputo.

     
  • Corruption in RLM housing department exposed

    RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - A female employee of the Rustenburg Municipality’s Housing department has been suspended on charges of corruption and bribery while her male assistant is to follow suit in a spate of corruption and bribery that has been going on for years on end at the Rustenburg Municipal flats for the elderly in Kremetart Avenue and Church Street Rustenburg. 
    According to a trusted source, an investigation into allegations of corruption and bribery at the municipal flats had already begun in 2016 and finally the cards seem to be tumbling, Rustenburg Herald was told.
