RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - The #GoTeam42 community movement, together with their partners, will be conducting a scheduled neighbourhood cleanup on Saturday, 20 December, from 08:00 to 12:00, focusing on Line Road.
This operation will be small and coordinated, involving light cleanup work. As such, there may be partial, temporary road closures near the active work areas. Traffic flow will remain open, and the team will work to ensure minimal disruption to all residents, businesses, and motorists.

This cleanup follows #GoTeam42’s successful cleanup effort on 29 November, and forms part of their continued commitment to keeping the neighbourhood clean, safe, and well-maintained. An additional cleanup has also been scheduled for Saturday, 10 January 2026.
The light cleanup on 20 December will help reduce the workload and ensure a more effective and efficient operation in January, again in Line Road. The second, larger operation will include cutting, trimming of bushy areas and a complete cleanup of the road area. 10 January will also be the day the team reveals the official “Before and after” results to the public.
“Thank you to all our partners, sponsors and residents for your cooperation and ongoing support as we work together to improve and maintain our shared environment,” a representative of the #GoTeam42 commented. “Without our partners, sponsors and residents helping us, the Line Road project would not have been possible.”
