RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - December is that time of year when people dig out their Christmas trees to put them up and to decorate them with colourful lights. Usually, children the world over cannot wait to open their presents around the tree.
Christmas is a time of togetherness and sharing in the true spirit of our Saviour. This is what Christmas is all about. We give gifts to others and we also receive gifts. We all have smiles on our faces, because it is the season for giving. When we see the colourful lights outside people’s homes, we feel the happiness in our hearts.

The Big Red Postbox at the Wildevy Centre in Protea Park is where you will find the North Pole Mail. This is Santa’s Postbox where you post your letters to him. The owners, management and tenants of the Wildevy Centre invite every child under the age of 16 years to draft a letter with their favourite Christmas wishes. Why don’t you do the same and drop your Christmas letters to Santa into the Big Red Postbox right in front of the Wildevy Shopping Centre?
Remember to add your name and a cell phone contact number in your letter to Santa.
And here is the best news - on 18 December an independent person will draw three winning letters to Santa from all the letters dropped into the Big Red Postbox. There will be three generous cash prizes for the first three letters drawn. If your letter is one of the three drawn, you will receive a call which is sure to make your day. This call will make your Christmas even better, because you will be one of only three children to receive a generous cash gift.
If you haven’t done so already - don’t delay any day longer - write your letter to Santa today and rush off to the Wildevy Centre in Wildevy Avenue and make sure that your letter is posted and well on its way to Santa!
