RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Rustenburg has launched a manhunt following the discovery of a woman’s body at a flat on Tuin Street, Rustenburg, on Monday, 4 August, at approximately 17:00.
According to Sgt Ofentse Mokgadi, Rustenburg police spokesperson, the Police were called to the scene, where they were met by the building caretaker and a witness, who is reportedly a friend of the suspect. Upon entering the flat, the police discovered the lifeless body of a woman with three visible stab wounds to the neck.

Preliminary information revealed that the witness received a phone call from the suspect - believed to be the deceased’s boyfriend- informing him that he had stabbed his girlfriend during a fight the previous night, on Sunday, 3 August.
A case of murder has been opened, and police investigations are underway.
