RUSTENBURG HERALD - RUSTENBURG - The Rustenburg Local Municipality’s City at Work programme continues to take better shape as more resources are availed to its disposal, this time around with the purchase of new additional yellow fleet and vehicles to ensure efficiency in the provision of services and meeting community needs.
The executive Mayor of Rustenburg Cllr Shiela Mabale-Huma, accompanied by Members of the Mayoral Committee (MMCs), recently handed over new fleet including bakkies and Tractor-Loader-Backhoes (TLBs).
Addressing the municipal staff, the Mayor impressed on drivers and responsible incumbents the significance of optimising resource use and the need to look after the municipal fleet for longevity. She also emphasised the need for deliberate and targeted plans to leverage resources so as to achieve service delivery goals as an ideal to ensure universal access to services.
