WUKF (World Union Karate Federation) North West Traditional Karate & Kobudo Provincial Challenge – a historic first. This past weekend, history was made with the first-ever officially sanctioned WUKF SA & MASA & MASA NW (Martial Arts South Africa) North West Provincial Championship. Despite some challenges and limited support, Ken To Ashi Dojo and the team took on the responsibility with dedication and determination to host this milestone event.

Their efforts ensured a professional and competitive platform for athletes in the North West province. This championship marks a new chapter for WUKF SA & MASA NW in the region, and they look forward to seeing it grow in strength and participation in the years to come. A huge thank you to WUKF SA, NW, MASA, MASA NW and Ken To Ashi Dojo and all involved from participants, parents, instructors etc. For making this happen and helping to expand WUKF SA and MASA presence in the North West! Pictured here are Riaan Venter (Morganti Ju-Jitsu Senior Instructor), Naomi Venter (MASA NW secretary), Deneshen Govender (WUKF SA representative), Pieter Bezuidenhout (MASA NW President), Deon de Jong (MASA NW Vice-president) and Vickus van Dyk (WUKF NW representative and Tournament Host).
