Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - A new voice was added to the exciting splurge of Klerksdorp authors making a name for themselves in the literary world.
Sam-Annique Lowry is the latest author mentored by Stefaans Coetzee and will be hosting her book launch next week. Her book, the first in a series, is called Forever Yours and is published by Naledi. She says if you’ve ever loved, lost or longed for something real, this book is for you.
Forever Yours tells the story of teenagers, Julie and Britney through the ups and downs of searching for Mr Right. Julie seems to have it all. Yet deep down she longs for true love. For best friend Britney, on the other hand, love seems to come too easily. Both teens are frustrated by their dating struggles, so they decide to make a list of relationship rules to help them navigate through the challenges of finding real love in an age where all of society seems to be after superficial love.
Will they keep to their rules? Or is that kind of love only meant for the movies?
“The goal of this book is to share lessons about relationships in a way that feels natural - so readers can learn without even realizing it. I’ve woven the story out of challenges I’ve faced in my own life, along with the experiences of people close to me. By drawing from real moments and real emotions, I hope the story feels authentic, honest, and deeply relatable,’’ shares Sam-Annique.
A passionate student of relationships, Sam-Annique is always learning, reflecting, and growing. She’s a proud mom of two daughters and manages From Shack to Sanctuary, a coffee shop and event venue close to her heart. Life on the farm - with animals, open skies, and long walks with her three dogs - grounds her.
