Klerksdorp Record, Kanana - The police request the community’s assistance in locating and identifying a man who is a rape suspect.
On August 19, it was reported to the police that a 15-year-old victim was raped by an unknown man, armed with a knife.
She was walking home in Ext 4 at about 18:30 when he approached her. The man is dark in complexion, with dark eyes, medium in height and built. He was wearing a white cap and a white t-shirt and spoke Setswana. He is estimated to be about 25 years old or older.
The police request anyone who may have information that can assist to identify and trace the man, to contact the Branch Commander / Investigating Officer, Col Hariëtte McKinsey/Const Onalena Letebele of Klerksdorp Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit on 082 492 3785 or 082 568 6909.
