Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Two rhinos were killed on a game farm in the Klerksdorp district.
The dead animals were discovered on January 13. According to Lt Col Sam Tselenyane, police spokesperson, the animals were last seen alive on December 26 during routine patrols. “The ranger discovered the carcasses in a routine patrol. The animals were shot but their horns were not removed. The value of the two rhinos is estimated to be R750 000.’’
No arrest has been made and investigation is underway.
