Ashton John’s annual Soccer Smash Showdown took place on June 8 and it was a day filled with laughter, joy and lots of soccer. The initiative was started by Bonita and John van der Westhuizen and so the Soccer Smash was born last year. Their target was children who have a love and passion for soccer and they got an opportunity to play against each other. The players all received treats and presents and 350 new soccer kits were handed out.
