Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Klerksdorp Fight Night is back. For the first time since the pandemic, the popular action-filled MMA event will be held at the Portuguese Hall this weekend.

KFN14 (it is the fourteenth event) will take place on Saturday September 7 with ten bouts. Josiah Obasi and Zhane Tannous will clash in the main event in the title fight. This light heavyweight clash promises top MMA action.

 

To add further attraction, Van Pletzen, popular Afrikaans singer, will also perform. His songs are favourites among the young crowd and promises an after party not to be missed.

The morning kicks off at 09:00 with the weigh ins and face offs between the fighters. There will be ample photo opportunity with the athletes and outside a carnival atmosphere with food stalls and exhibits will keep everyone entertained.

The main event will start at 17:00 with rugby action on the big screen when the Springbokke will clash with the All Blacks. The bouts will start at 17:30 with the Van Pletzen after party scheduled to happen after 21:30.   

Tickets are available at Computicket at R150 (children younger than 16), R300 (normal entry) and R400 (VIP). Children younger than six years get free entry. VIP tables are available at R10 000 and R5 000. Tickets will also be available at the door. According to the organisers, they have lots of future action instore. KFN15 as well as a House of Strength Armwrestling Championship are also planned for the coming weeks before year end.
