Klerksdorp Record, Orkney - The Provincial Police Commissioner’s Golf Day is set to take place at Orkney Golf Club, bringing together members of the South African Police Service, business stakeholders and community partners for a full day of golf, networking and entertainment.

The event will be hosted by the Acting NW Provincial Commissioner, Maj-Genl (Dr) Ryno Naidoo on Friday February 6.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Sapset (SA Police Service Education Trust) and to provide financial support toward the educational needs of the children of police employees who lost their lives in the execution of their duties.

The golf day will begin early, with registration opening at 08:00. A shotgun start has been scheduled for 10:00. The event will be played in a two-ball American scramble format.

A four-ball entry is available at R2 000, providing access to the full golfing experience. For teams wishing to include a wethole, a four-ball is available at R3 000. Participants who wish to take part in the wethole competition only may do so at a cost of R1 000.

All entry options include halfway and a spitbraai, ensuring that players are well catered for during the day. A special guest performance by popular musician, Refentse that evening is a highlight as well.
