Lentswe, Khuma - The Tholoana Foundation hosted an event in collaboration with the SASBO union on September 30. This event marked a heartwarming occasion where SASBO generously donated essential groceries to an already-established soup kitchen. Kgotso Madi, executive member of SASBO, expressed the union’s unique approach and commitment to community engagement.
He highlighted that while many unions primarily advocate for salary increases, SASBO sets itself apart by dedicating a portion of its resources each year to extend a helping hand to various organizations.
Golden anniversary
Lentswe, Kanana - A couple of this township is still happy and in love after 50 years of marriage. Paseke (74) and Makatse (71) Nteso got married on October 8 in 1973 and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at their home this past weekend.
Paseke was born in Lesotho, moved to Klerksdorp to find work and this is where he met the nice lady he calls his wife.
