The Ngwana Sejo NPO Clothes & Shoes Campaign was held in Coligny on Human Rights Day. Maliphehlo Patuleni, Vanessa Mogwera, Kamogelo Motone, Boitumelo Lunga and The Godfather himself were there.
Reaching out to parolees
Lentswe, Hartbeesfontein - Parolees received a visit last week to ensure they comply with their parole conditions. Klerksdorp Community Corrections, in collaboration with key stakeholders including the police, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture, and the CPF, conducted this special monitoring operation in Hartbeesfontein and Tigane on March 26.
Pitiki held at Jouberton community hall
On Saturday March 22 women gathered at the Jouberton community hall to empower each other at the pitiki held for young women on the move. Pitiki is a movement going from place to place and women across all cultures are welcome. Freddie Gwala in Kanana
Freddie Gwala, known for creating zumba music, will perform at Shop Six on Saturday April 5. There will also be some African Jazz from the Afro Band and Soul. They are the men fighting against the abuse of women, children, the LGBTQI and elderly. Time: 14:00 till late. Host: MA-V. Entrance is free.
