Lentswe, Stilfontein - The City of Matlosana Local Economic Development Directorate, in collaboration with Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality, organised the Entrepreneurial Flea Market Day at Stilfontein Gardens on December 1. The event was attended by small and medium entreprises from Matlosana, local communities, government authorities, and private sector representatives.

Teachers party stress away
Lentswe, Klerksdorp - As part of thanking themselves, teachers from every nook and corner of KOSH gathered at Klerksdorp Rio Casino recently. Teachers work tirelessly from January to December of each year imparting knowledge to learners. Some pass through torrid times where the same learners are attacking them and parents do not help them.
In some instances, the same parents go to schools to attack teachers as it has been the case at some schools across the country.
Kopano Ke Matla Gospel Choir wins top prize
Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Kopano Ke Matla Gospel Choir is a Clap-n-Tap choir based in Jouberton.
The choir was established in 1992 and since the inception of the choir has won several competitions and awards.
The choir was one of the group shortlisted for the competition of Clap-n-Tap, organized by the Moemedi Monk Matsepe Foundation.
Funeral parlour mourns one of their own
Lentswe, Jouberton - It is with heavy hearts that Motlhanke’s Funeral Parlour mourns the passing of Kenyaditswe Maria Motlhanke, the co-founder and the first lady of Motlhanke’s funeral parlour. She was a cherished member of the community. A very remarkable individual whose presence has left an indelible mark in the lives of many.
The parlour was established in 1987, and has been helping the community bury their loved ones with dignity and respect.
