Lentswe, Alabama - The talented Matthew’s Academy Independent School children from Alabama were awarded certificates at the prestigious Rina de Bruyn Eisteddfod Musikon North West ceremony. This outstanding achievement is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for music. The Eisteddfod is a renowned platform for young musicians to showcase their skills, and to be recognized among their peers is a remarkable accomplishment. Their success is not only a reflection of their individual talent but also a tribute to the support and guidance of their teachers, parents, and mentors. 

Lentswe, Kanana - KAMA held a prayer day on Sunday August 25.
Different churches and groups like the interdenominational churches (women’s league), KCC (Kanana Council of Churches) and numerous other churches participated in prayer. The aim was to gather as a community and unite in prayer and worship. This event focuses on thanking God for bringing peace to the community and hearing our prayers since the recent massacre. The occasion was a great success.

Lentswe, Jouberton - Ladies of the Anglican church Diocese of Matlosana in Jouberton (Holy Family) celebrated women’s month with social events celebrating strong women. The events were themed Doek on fleek with vintage flair. It was in honour of strong women who never give up. Participants thanked the reverends and church counsellors for their hard work.

Lentswe, Potchefstroom - The Department of Education in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda district, led by the district director, MB Monale, held an appreciation ceremony at ES le Grange School for educators qualifying for the National Teaching Awards.
