Moagi wa Jouberton - The community is held hostage by gangs and this has been going on for too long. Gangs have brought terror to the community even the Jouberton SAPS proved to be incapable to restoring and upholding law and order in the community, and one would think that they allow lawlessness to prevail. Our local economy is very bad and unable to create much needed jobs because investors cannot invest in Jouberton due to 30% extortion from any developmental project to be implemented in Jouberton.

Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Dimpho Cribby Mongale has been in music for over than ten years, but started recording six years back. He was in a group called Mighty Boys who wrote a song with the late Mandoza. Currently, he is working on a tape called Tsela ya mmimi, or the path of the knowing.
He is selling it himself and it will not be sold on digital platforms. The tape goes for R50. He intends to have a listening session at the Klerksdorp Museum on September 5. It will be art, food and breaking down the song. His girlfriend, a designer, will present her fashion. Follow him as Cribby_sa on all social platforms and on Facebook as Dimpho Cribby Mongale.

The All Saints Anglican Church in Khuma celebrated Alumni Day in their academic regalia to motivate members of the church and the community for Women’s Month.

The Godfather Sounds & Matlosana Country Lodge held their Women’s Day celebration, by giving away gift hampers to the winning women. They are DJ Tpee Mazembe waMoruti, Nonkosi Mfene (winner), Makie Maleshane (winner), Poetic Bee Babe Sizila (MC) and The Godfather himself was also there.
