Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The search has started for the dynamic successor who will follow in the footsteps of the current Miss South Africa, Mia le Roux, and become one of South Africa’s most prominent ambassadors and inspirational leaders.
Entries for Miss South Africa 2025 will close on Friday April 11 at 18:00. The beautiful Mia has some important advice to those thinking of entering the Miss South Africa competition this year. “When entering Miss South Africa the most important thing you can do is to come in with an open heart and an open mind because this journey will really challenge you to explore who you are and what you stand for. And, if you embrace the journey fully, you will come out knowing yourself so much better whether you take the crown or not.”

Lentswe, Kanana - Library week was celebrated recently and the Orkney library presented outreach programs at Folang Disability Centre and Ikaheng Disable Centre, both in Kanana. The library appreciated the help of members who contributed their time and effort to promote library services and make them more accessible to the communities we serve.

Mothers came from all walks of life to celebrate a big day of their Patron Mary the Emma curate. This day is called “Lady Day” and happens every March. The service was led by the Anglican bishop, Right Rev Steve Diseko and all Clergy of the Diocese of Matlosana.

St Anne Mothers Union in Kanana continued their outreach for their elderly. The executive committee with (front) Regina Disenyane, chairperson, Magdaline Ndamase, and Maria Masike can be seen. Several senior citizens benefited from this gesture.

The Ngwana Sejo NPO Clothes & Shoes Campaign was held in Coligny on Human Rights Day.  Maliphehlo Patuleni, Vanessa Mogwera, Kamogelo Motone, Boitumelo Lunga and The Godfather himself were there.
