Lentswe, Klerksdorp - The police retrieved the body of an unknown man found floating in the Schoonspruit over the weekend. According to Lt Col Amanda Funani, police spokesperson, a pedestrian saw the floating body from the low water bridge at Leemhuis Street and called the police. “An inquest was opened meaning it is under investigation.
There was no visible injuries to the body. At this stage the identity of the deceased is still unknown,’’ she said.
