Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Phoebe Moselane (20) is from Jouberton. She is the Miss North West Exclusive 1st Runner up. As Miss North West Exclusive 1st runner up she is an advocate for youth and services in her community and she is determined to harness the platform to drive positive change in the community.
“Growing up in Jouberton, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by youth, limited opportunities, lack of resources and fading hope. These experiences ignited a fire within me to create meaningful change. My title is not just an achievement but it’s call to action. I realised that I have a chance to rise and make a difference.
My title is not just a crown but it’s a tool to amplify the voices of those who need to be heard. “
With unwavering passion she embarked on a mission to establish education and skills development programs for the underprivileged youth, foster community engagement through social initiatives and advocate for youth and community addressing pressing issues like unemployment and inequality.
She envisions a community where every individual has access to resources, support and opportunities to thrive. She is committed to breaking barriers, building bridges and uplifting others.
“Through collaborations with local organisations and schools I aim to provide mentorship and training for youth, organize initiatives and also to develop sustainable projects to promote economic growth. Change begins with one person, one action and one voice. I invite everyone to join me on this transformative journey. As I rise to the challenge, together we can rewrite the narrative of our community. Let’s rise, serve and empower.”
