Lentswe, Kanana - Tebogo Sepale, who worked as an ANC councillor, was released from jail last month, after spending two years in jail. His two years of hell after being named a “sex councillor’’ came to a halt on January 24, when he was found not guilty on three charges relating to sexual offences with children. Sepale was arrested after a pornographic video was circulated showing him having sex with a minor, and also various other cases of non-consensual sex as well as him asking sex from people as payment to get a job in the municipality.
He confirmed to Lentswe that “it was all fake and lies” and that he is in the process of getting his job back. “I am bitter after losing my fiancée, house, car and salary”.
He had to move back in with his mother as his relatives were the only people still supporting him.
He instructed his lawyer to take legal action against the ANC and the municipality to correct all the wrongs made against him.
