Lentswe, Klerksdorp - Harold Kopano Malinga was officially sworn in as a City of Matlosana councillor this week. Senior Magistrate Marionette Kirsten handled the ceremony at the Klerksdorp Magistrate’s Court on Monday October 21.
Malinga, a proportional representative (PR) councillor from the Patriotic Alliance (PA), participated in a solemn affirmation or swearing-in ceremony, during which he pledged to obey, respect, and uphold the Constitution and all other laws of the Republic of South Africa.
As a newly-elected councillor, he promised to carry out his duties as the member of the City of Matlosana Council to the best of his abilities.
