Lentswe, Jouberton - The strong wind earlier in the week caused a lot of damage to Mamello Nchang’s house in Ext 10. “My roof blew off on Monday October 21 and I don’t have money to fix it,” she told Lentswe. Her address is 4836 Ext 10, Jouberton. She is unemployed and is unable to fix the damage herself.
She contacted her ward counsellor who referred her to the emergency rescue service of Matlosana who gave her three blankets and a mattress to sleep on.
“Sassa helped us with the distress relief grant,” she said.
