Lentswe, Klerksdorp - One of the robbers who robbed a store inside Matlosana Mall last week, was arrested.
He is expected to appear in the Klerksdorp Magistrates’ Court for armed robbery. Brig Sabatha Mokgwabone, police spokesperson, said the accused and three accomplices entered a retail store at Matlosana Mall on Friday July 12, at approximately 15:00. They robbed the store of cellphones and cash, then fled on foot.
“The mall security chased them and members of Tactical Response Team (TRT) who were outside the mall spotted the suspects and managed to arrest one of them. All phones were recovered. Investigation into the matter including tracing of the other suspects, is underway.”
