Lebogang Itebogeng was formally sworn in as a Party Representative (PR) Councillor by Senior Magistrate Marionette Kirsten. The formality was presided over by the City of Matlosana’s Speaker of Council, Cllr Stella Mondlane.
Cllr Itebogeng represents the African National Congress (ANC) and was invited to participate in a solemn affirmation or swearing-in ceremony during which he would declare his commitment by pledging to obey, respect, and uphold the Constitution and all other laws of the Republic of South Africa. As a newly elected Councillor, he promises to carry out his duties as a member of the City of Matlosana Council to the best of his abilities.
