Lentswe, Jouberton - This serves to notify consumers of a planned interruption to normal water supply that will be experienced this weekend. The City of Matlosana said in a notice that residents will experience an interruption in water supply on Saturday and Sunday March 16,17. The interruption is due to the cleaning and disinfection of Alabama 4,5Ml and 26Ml reservoirs on respective days.
The operation is expected to last for 12 hours on each day, from 06:00 - 18:00 and will result in supply interruption to the following areas; Alabama Extensions 1 - 5, Manzilpark and Jouberton Extensions 19 - 21.
Consumers are urged to use water sparingly during this period.
