Lentswe, Kanana - For the first time in history of the Sanlam Kay Motsepe League, Kanana Primary are the reigning u/13 boys’ champions. They eliminated both Rustenburg Noord, Victory and Florida on their way and collected nine points. The Kanana boys brought home a trophy and first prize of R100 000. Rustenburg Noord ended second, followed by Victory and Florida respectively.

The girls u/13 category was won by Refethuto Primary from Sannieshof. They also pocketed R100 000 plus the silverware. 

Eletsa Secondary from Madibeng in the Bojanala region scooped the u/19’s and R150 000 plus a trophy. The runner ups were from Ramotshere Moilwa in Ngaka Modiri Molema region. The latter will accompany Eletsa Secondary to the national championships.

Kanana and Refethuto primaries will represent NW province at the national championships. 

Kanana primary displayed their prizes at the morning devotion at the ceremony graced by Doreen Ntlatseng from Matlosana LFA and Marumo Modieginyana who represented Dr K Kaunda region and acted as SAFA Regional Coordinator.

The regional president, Orapeleng Setlhare who was in Lesotho accompanying the national u/17 team, heaped praises on the winners.
