Klerksdorp Midweek, Hartbeesfontein - The Orkney & Klerksdorp Animal Shelter is inviting you to spend Human Rights Day with them. A balloon run and fun day will take place on the farm Hartbeesfontein, Berg Street in Hartbeesfontein on March 21.
They will have stalls, boeresport, a beer stall and remind people to bring their own folding chair, sunscreen, hat and umbrella and all dogs must be on leash and controllable.
The fun run will take place over 3 km (entry is R30), 6 km (R60 entry) and 9 km with an entry fee of R90.
The first 100 entrants will automatically be entered into the lucky draw via balloon.
The entrance fee at the gate will be R10 per person, R20 per dog and all entries will be cash only.
The gates will open at 09:00, boere-sport will start at 10:00, run entries will open at 13:00 and the run will start at 14:00.
Donations of dog food, baby powder, Triatix, washing powder, black bags, toilet paper and funds for petrol will be accepted.
