Coaching for coaches
Klerksdorp Midweek, Ikageng - In an attempt to empower coaches, SAFA Dr Kenneth Kaunda region hosted a D - Licence coaching course. It took place from November 18-25 at Ikageng Stadium. Amongst the attendees were novice coaches and former professional players such as Bongani Cashibe and Gert Schalkwyk of Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs respectively. The theoretical part was completed in a practical part where soccer clinics were conducted using young boys and girls from Ikageng township.

Mzazi wins in hometown
Gladwin Mzazi won the first-ever Flamwood Walk race on Sunday November 19. He is originally from Klerksdorp and he took part in the Soweto Marathon.
