Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Lace up your takkies and get ready to participate in the Fortress Running Series race taking place for the first time ever at Flamwood Walk on November 19. This is the first race being held at the Flamwood Walk shopping centre and is the last of the four races in the 2023 Fortress Running Series. Comrades legends Tete Dijana and Edward Mothibi will be participating in the race – join them by entering today.
Entry fees start at R60 for the 5km, R100 for the 10km and R150 for the 21.1km races. Children under 12 can participate in the 5km race for free.

Students from TISKA Karate performed brilliantly at the TISKA SA Karate Championships hosted in Potchefstroom on October 21. All of the karatekas qualified for their South African Tiska colours. In front is Leah Maartens who won two silver and one bronze and Milan Maartens with one gold and one silver. Enriko Oosthuizen won two bronze, Isabell Evert won two bronze and CG Randall won two silver and one bronze. In the back is Motlatsi Paul Tselane who won one silver and two bronze, Sensei Werner Maartens and Bennie Smit who won two silver. Not in the photo is Kia-na Maartens with two gold and one silver and Johan Swartz with two bronze and one gold.

Klerksdorp Midweek, Klerksdorp - Matlosana Mall’s Glow in the Dark Night Run will take place on Tuesday October 24 at 19:00. Get ready to light up the night and lace up your running shoes. Choose your distance and register now: 2.5 km: R30, 5 km: R50 and 10 km: R80. Luminous paint will be available for all participants to make sure you light up the night in style. Get creative with your glow-in-the-dark outfits because there will be prizes for the best-dressed male and female participants. 
The first 200 athletes to cross the finish line will receive a Matlosana Mall goodie bag. This event promises an unforgettable evening of fun, fitness, and glow-in-the-dark magic.
