NOORDWESTER – LICHTENBURG - The potholes behind the Mall became so deep and big that driving became impossible. It has been in this terrible state for months and months.
As it is the dropping zone for deliveries, truck drivers could not deliver goods any longer. The management of Lichtenburg Mall realised that they needed to do something themselves to rectify the situation.

Nono Ditshwene, Manager of the Centre says, “We are part of the community and we had to do something - and quick - before business got to a standstill.”
David Breedt, Centre contractor, thus organised some workers to fill up the potholes. They did an excellent good job by first digging out the holes (125mm deep) and then filling it up with concrete. Trucks can now drive on this road without damaging it and normal vehicles without worry of incurring damage.
The community owes Lichtenburg Mall Management and stakeholders a huge thank you!
