STELLALANDER-VRYBURG: Sport fans in and around Vryburg had the opportunity to meet up with Springbok legend Os du Randt as part of the celebration of rugby fever around the globe.
Front-row star Du Randt turned out in 80 tests for the national side during a superb 13-year international career. The popular prop also played for the Cheetahs, the Cats and the Bulls before announcing his retirement in 2007.
Forming part of a series of Freddy Hirsch activations across the country during the Springboks’ campaign in France, Os Du Randt visited the Food Town Hyper store in Vryburg on Saturday, 30 September where fans had a chance to ask him a few questions and enjoy some Freddy Hirsch boerewors with the legend. There were several giveaways for the sport fans in attendance, as well as opportunities to snap some pics with the former Bok star.
