Founded in 2013 by Bonita van der Westhuizen, TTW has grown into one of the most beloved pageants in the South African pageant community. The competition has expanded over the years to include participants from neighbou-ring countries such as Botswana and Namibia. TTW has remained committed to providing a supportive platform for young children and tweens to build confidence, develop their talents, and create lasting memories.
"Each year is an incredible experience. Witnessing the return of these young girls year after year, seeing their personal growth, and observing the impact they make within their communities is truly remarkable," said Bonita van der Westhuizen, owner and director of Toddler and Tween of the World.
The 2024 event, known for offering not only a competitive edge but also a fun and inclusive experience, saw participants engage in a variety of interactive activities designed to foster friendships and build confidence. The gala night, with its live performances and spectacular crowning, provided a fitting end to the festivities.
Winners in several categories will now have the prestigious opportunity to represent their region by competing at the Ultimate International Miss competition in the USA next year, bringing their talent to an even larger stage.
“As TTW continues to grow, plans are already underway for an even more magical experience at TTW 2025, scheduled for 9 – 11 October 2025 with the theme of Disney. Participants and attendees can expect more surprises, fun-filled activities, and new categories as the pageant evolves,” van der Westhuizen added.
TTW is also proud to announce the launch of its revamped website, which will offer a streamlined experience for registrations, payments, and event updates.
