Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - A youngster from Jouberton was all smiles last week when Rio Casino helped his dream come true.
The casino partnered with the Reach for a Dream Foundation to make Tsiamiso Swanepoel’s dream come true. He is very sick and dreams of being a chef one day. He also really wanted a Playstation 5.
Ten-year old Tsiamiso and his family visited the resort on Friday May 24 when the executive chef, Bongo, gave him a taste of what it feels like to be in the kitchen by assisting him in making his own pizza.
With the PS5 he also received a soccer ball, Manchester city T-shirt, slippers, scarf and beanie.
Reach for a Dream seeks to alleviate the strain that life-threatening illnesses place on sick children and their families by providing these dreamers with the opportunity to believe in their greatest wish. The Foundation has been providing dreams to children all around the country for 35 years. These young children are under extreme pressure to deal with these medical issues and are in desperate need of encouragement. In addition, Reach for a Dream offers the child a magical moment to regain their childhood that is being lost to an illness.
