Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The Rotary Club of Orkney held their Corporate Bowls Charity Day last weekend at the Klerksdorp Bowling Club.
With colourful balloons, popcorn, warm hearts and team names like Abracadabra, Hocus Pocus, Green Goblins and Sim Sala Bim a magic world was created on Saturday July 20 to support the Rotary theme for the year: the Magic of Rotary.
The main idea was to take hands with corporate enterprises to raise funds for charity and in return, the participants were treated to a day filled with fun, team building and fellowship.
Marius Koenig, the event planner, thanked every supporter and said he would like to make the Rotary Corporate Charity Bowls day an annual event.
