Last week the Northwest Nominated Candidates for Parliament as well as the Provincial Legislature were sworn in as members of Parliament for the seventh Parliament/Provincial Legislature administration. In Parliament, the DA have Joe McGluwa (Matlosana), Chris Hattingh (Tlokwe), Leon Basson (Brits) and Isaac Seitlholo (Tlokwe).
In the provincial legislature are Christian Steyl (Tlokwe), Johanna Steenkamp (Tlokwe), Hendriëtte Van Huyssteen (Vryburg), Freddy Sonakile (Mafikeng) and Wolfgang Wallhorn (Matlosana).
