Lentswe, Klerksdorp - An ANC stalwart passed away this weekend. The Party Caucus announced the passing Cllr Thembeka Kedibone Chabalala, MMC of Community Service in the Matlosana municipality. She passed away on Sunday March 31, following a short illness.
MMC Chabalala served the ANC at different levels, including being the regional secretary of ANCWL in Dr Kenneth Kaunda District. She will be buried on April 7. The service will start at home at 06:00, and move to Auditorium.
School builds TB awareness

Cemetery at full capacity
Lentswe, Khuma - The local cemetery has reached its full capacity. According to the municipality, the last burials took place on February 24. “Residents are informed that all future burials will be conducted at the Stilfontein/Klerksdorp cemetery. Only the re-opening of graves and already purchased plots will be allowed,” the council stated in a press release.
