Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - Rotaract is presenting an upcoming fundraising event in the city.

Rotaract is bringing popular South African hip-hop artist, Loufi to Klerksdorp with a concert in support of the Orkney Animal Shelter and Rotaract’s community projects.

The event will take place at the Portuguese Hall on October 18. Tickets are R250 each and are available at Webtickets and Pick n Pay.

This event will feature a live performance by Loufi, as well as special guest appearances by Rikus Strauss and Replay Dance Centre.

In addition to enjoying a fantastic evening of entertainment, businesses who make donations are welcome to advertise on the venue screens and displays, offering great exposure while showing their support for these worthy causes.

Who is Loufi (for the uninformed)? Jean-Luc Handel, professionally known as Loufi, is a passionate, hardworking, and self-driven hip hop artist who is making waves in the South African music scene.

Formerly a part of CMB with Young Park, Loufi has opted to go solo in order to make his music more personal based on his life experiences. Through his music, he hopes to have a good impact on the world by sharing tales that may enrich the lives of others.

He is greatly influenced by his own life experiences, but he also finds inspiration in everything else around him. Every song has a little bit of him since he sees composing music as his own special form of rehabilitation. Even though he has developed his own style since his early days, it is still clear from his songs that hip-hop is a part of who he is.
