Performing art students excell

Brian Kenneth School of Performing Arts recognised its achievers after the PATA examinations, at the annual prize giving on Saturday November 25. The studio boasts with many distinctions in various performance arts. The top students are (back) Chante Niemand, Shelby Thole, Kamea Veldman, Michelle Liebenberg, Laurika Booysen, Amber Travers, Wilma Radyn and Shiloh De La Rose. Madeleine Meyer (middle), Micaela Laastele and Simone van Niekerk (shared the title as overall winner). In the front are Joshua Pieterse and Hanno Bornman.

Bikers wys hul sagte kant

Klerksdorp Rekord, Klerksdorp - Die jaarlikse Toy Run het op Sondag 26 November plaasgevind en dit was weereens ‘n brullende sukses.

Motorfietsryers van die stad het hul sagte kant gewys, en met sakke vol sagte speelgoed opgedaag. ‘n Speelding het jou toegang verseker en verskeie motorfietsyers het met sagte speelgoed op hul ysterperde gery. Daarna het almal lekker saamgekuier.

The North West School of Design’s Platinum Fashion Festival is a highlight every year. This year’s fashion extravaganza did not disappoint. The fashion college celebrated 25 years of existence last month and just announced receiving international accreditation by the British Accreditation Council.
