Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp - The NW Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of Xoli Moagi as the new CEO. 

Moagi succeeds the late André Coertzen who served the business community across the province since the inception of the chamber. He passed away suddenly in August last year.

Senior Board member, Kgotso Mmadi welcomed Moagi saying she is an exceptional asset to the chamber. “Her dedication, work ethic, and organisational abilities will be beneficial to the vision of the business chamber. “We are truly excited to welcome her to the new CEO position,’’ he said.

 

 

 

He added that her extensive experience as an entrepreneur and her proven track record of leadership made her a suitable candidate for the position. 

Moagi served as the NWCOCI board member for more than three years, amongst other previous leadership roles, she served as the North West Provincial Chairperson of South African Women in Construction and Build Environment. She currently serves in different boards that will benefit to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the business chamber. In 2023, she also received the Golden Key Honorary Award Recognition by North West University.

Prof Ronnie Lotriet, also a board member, said: “It was a wise decision to appoint Xoli as the CEO of the Chamber, she is well balanced and will contribute meaningful to the business chamber.”
