Klerksdorp Record, Klerksdorp – A shop in Matlosana Mall was robbed on Monday afternoon April 8 shortly before closing time.
The robbers pretended to be customers and produced firearms while they were in the business, said Col Adele Myburgh, police spokesperson. Staff of Pep Home raised the alarm after 17:30 when the two robbers fled with cellphones and cash.
“The staff were told to give their cooperation and they would not get hurt. Their hands were tied together with cable ties. No one was hurt.’’
